The hotel itself is fantastic, very clean, ideal positioning to Piccadilly Station and affordable parking at the rear. Reception staff very welcoming and friendly, rooms clean and comfortable. However breakfast in the restaurant atrocious. Service and ordering was dire, food wasn’t great either. Stay in the hotel again but will definitely be having breakfast elsewhere next time.

Decided to stay here due to it being close to where other family members were staying due to it’s proximity to Piccadilly station.
Fourth stay at this hotel and unfortunately not the best

Having stayed 3 times previously and enjoying the hotel very much, I booked for 5 nights for my annual visit to the UK. I was allocated Room 413, which to be fair was very quiet as i had requested, and I slept well. However, whenever I went near the dressing table area it felt extremely cold and initially I couldn't understand why. Then I saw that set into the wall immediately behind the dressing table was a door, bearing a circular plaque saying "Fire Door, keep locked shut" (that is a new one on me!). There was a noticeable gap around and underneath the door and when I put my hand in front of it, very cold air was coming in (perhaps the door is a relic of the hotel's industrial past and led to an external fire escape, I don't know what was on the other side of it). For the first night it wasn't too much of a problem, but on returning on the evening of the second day I found that all the heating in the room and bathroom had been turned off and the room was really cold. I rang Reception and was told that as they'd had so many complaints about rooms being too hot they had decided to turn the heating off completely! They tried to help by bringing an oil filled electric radiator up for me, but in a large room those really don't make much difference and I had to pull a heavy chair around so i could sit a few inches away from the radiator to make it bearable to sit and watch TV. Fortunately the heating was restored later that night but I still had to use the radiator to supplement the heating for the rest of my stay because of the cold draught. I spoke to Reception about it when I was checking out and suggested a draught excluder should be fitted around the door. Breakfast at the hotel is one of it's strengths and all the dishes I had this time were well cooked and enjoyable. But again there were a few problems. On my first morning, after having asked for the basket of toast and croissant 3 times I eventually had to leave without having received it as I had a train to catch. Another morning I had to ask more than once for coffee, I said I'd like an americano with some milk separately and what eventually arrived was an americano with far too much milk for my taste already added to it. On my last morning as soon as I was seated the waitress (who was very pleasant as were all the breakfast room staff) apologised for the fact that the coffee machine was broken and only coffee from a thermos jug could be served. I really like the location and style of the hotel, the comfortable beds, the standard of cleanliness and the staff so I will probably use it again but I definitely would not accept Room 413 next time.

The location of the hotel is great, right in the centre. The hotel staff, especially the front desk personel is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good and thanks to the fact, that it is open to public, one doesn't need to leave the breakfast room at a certain time, but can have a relaxed and delicious breakfast/ brunch. The price-performende ratio of the hotel is very good. I would definetly come back and would recommend the hotel.
